Carton packaging has come up as the most popular mode for transporting commercial and consumer goods. These boxes can hold any perishable item including milk, orange juice, flowers, fruits, etc. The most popular form of cardboard packaging is the one used to store and carry eggs and other fragile items like glassware.
Carton packaging is not done with ordinary papers or card boards. They are created using the combination of glue and heavy paper. This form of packaging has replaced the Styrofoam used in early days which were difficult to dispose and are hence not environment friendly.
As far as environment is concern paper manufacturing is not favorable for earth. Hence, fresh paper and carton production has been reduced and the shortfall of the demand is being managed by recycling used papers. It is a beneficial step for both the environment and traders as carton packaging done with recycled material costs lees and also reduces the burden on environment. Moreover, many of the recycled carton materials are now being developed to be biodegradable. It means that they will eventually dissolve in the soil and will not harm the natural resources.
